Recipient of Shelburne Senior Achievement Award
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in her 90th year. Beloved wife “princess” of the late Ken Wallace. Loving mother of Beth (Les) Brown, Gwen (Al) Pederson, Bob (Joan) Wallace, Debbie (Dennis) Scace, Kathy (Charlie) Storey and Dianne (Bruce) Irwin. Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Doris Mountford and Doris Wallace. Predeceased by her parents Ern and Ella Horsley, her brothers Edgar and Elgin Horsley, and her sister Verna Reid.
Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, Shelburne on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery. If desired, donations to Shelburne Residence Resident’s Council or Primrose United Church would be appreciated.
