March 22, 1937-July 9, 2017
Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Sunday, July 9, 2017 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of 52 years of Helen. Loving father of Cheryl (Bob), Heather (Rick) and Pauline (Daryl). Proud grandpa of Jessica, Karissa, Kylene, Ashton, Brandon and Janelle. Step-grandfather of Brad, Daniel, Kelly, Carmyn, Jackson, Melissa and Jordan. Dear brother of Lila, Audrey, Trueman, Lavern (Lynda) and Bev. Predeceased by his sisters Ada & Norma, his brother Earl, his in-laws Jack, Earl, Vi, Bob and Norm. He will be lovingly remembered by Rose, Bob, Betty, Jean, his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, Shelburne on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery. If desired, donations to Headwaters Health Care Centre or Monticello United Church would be appreciated.
