Peacefully at Matthews House Hospice, Alliston with his family by his side on Sunday, August 27, 2017 in his 95th year. Loving husband of the late Helen. Cherished father of Bruce (Susan), Phyllis (Gord), Bill (Linda), Diane (Bryan) and Faye (Bob). Devoted grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Cyril, Jean Morrison and Barb Stevenson. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Jennie (nee Boyle), his brothers Dennis, George and Gerald and his sisters Doris Stavrou and Bernice Cornfield. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, Shelburne on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery.
