It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Chris at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the age of 41. Loving husband, best friend and soul mate of Carol Ann. Proud dad of Landon, Hailey, Kaitlynn and those he affectionately referred to as the strays, Cerenity, Alex and Isiah. Chris was a cherished son-in-law of Cal and Linda Osmond and brother-in-law of Cathy, Robert and Connie. He will be remembered by his mother Kathy, brothers Les and Peter and their families. Predeceased by his father Eugene.

He was the foundation of our family; a great man, husband, father, son, uncle, friend, mentor and teacher. Chris made an impact on all he met and inspired so many. He had a kind spirit, positive attitude, gentle soul, excellent work ethic and a laugh that will stay in our hearts forever.

Chris was a mentor to many, serving as the Commanding Officer Shelburne 164 Squadron Air Cadets; a keen member of Lorne Lodge #377; the Broker of Record for Sutton Group Central; Brampton, Orangeville, Shelburne; and his passion for flight and aircraft shone through in his business Lux Air Services.

Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, Shelburne on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 220, 203 William Street, Shelburne on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to a Trust Fund for Landon or the 164 Shelburne Air Cadets to assist with the flying program would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
