It is with great sorrow that the family of Barbara Weatherby announces her passing on May 16, 2018 at her home in Shelburne. Barbara Frances Weatherby born 1931 in Little Hearts Ease, Newfoundland, devoted wife of the late Bud Weatherby (2005). Left to carry on are her loving children Beverly (Wilson) Smith of Hodges Cove, Newfoundland, Barry (Lorraine) of Dundalk, Jim (Elona) of Guelph and Shelley of Shelburne, her grandchildren Dean (Jeana) and Gail (Craig), Ryan, Chad, Natasha (Ryan), Katie (Matt), Libby (in spirit), Charlotte (Behrang), Nicole (Phil) and Shayne (Amanda), 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Mildred Martin, Newfoundland and Sherman King, Newfoundland. Predeceased by her parents James and Sarah Chaulk, sisters Marjorie Laing and Evelyn Jennex and her granddaughter Elizabeth "Libby".
The family will receive friends at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, Shelburne on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
