Passed away peacefully at Shelburne Residence on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 on his 91st birthday. Loving husband of the late Marion (nee Foster). Cherished father of Heather Hogan (Bill Willoughby) and Trudy (Grant) Burnside. Proud grandfather of Joshua and Michelle Hogan and Jeanette and Carter Burnside. Predeceased by his sister Beth Looby, his brother Moe Wallace and his dear friend Ruth Butcher. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, Shelburne on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery. If desired, donations to Primrose United Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
